Pagoda Montessori School boasts a talented, committed and passionate staff.
Many of them have been with us for over 25 years, and have had the unique privilege of been trained by our founder, who’s values and beliefs we uphold. We continue to invest in our staff, by nurturing the young to blend with the experienced.
With our staff, your child is surrounded with love, tenderness and care, making learning an experience that children engage in, without even realizing that they are actually learning. Our teacher-to-child ratio is beyond best practice, giving your child the attention they much deserve and to you, that peace of mind.
From the first teacher you’ll meet when you walk through our doors, to the last teacher you see packing up in the afternoon, all share a common vision of making your child’s first school experience a memorable and positive one.

Priyadharshani Tillekeratne
Directress, Pagoda Montessori School
Priyadharshani’s first introduction to Pagoda Montessori School was when she was still at home, watching her mother and our founder, help hundreds of students grow with us. Having attended Pagoda Montessori School herself and inspired by her mother’s passion, she joined us as a Teaching Assistant in 1988.
Priyadharshani has been with us for over 25 years and has worked in almost every part of the school. She is best known for her calm nature and warm way of welcoming new families to the school. Holding on to her passion, she earned a Certificate in Pre-school Education that together with her broad experience in Pre-school educational settings, assists her in the administration and management of Pagoda Montessori School.
With experience in every Pre-school cycle, Priyadharshani brings extensive understanding from decades of coaching under the guidance of our founder.
Priyadharshani is a talented organist. Her biggest reward is when past students come back to visit us, even after twenty years or so, just because of the connection they feel to Pagoda Montessori School.
She is passionate about teaching, passionate about Montessori, and passionate about Pagoda Montessori School. She simply cannot think of a job that she might enjoy more.
